sli your gts250,s…… i know this wont be everyones recommendation however the GTS250 is still a excellent card and running just the one will run the latest games… for example i have the XFX GTS250 and im playing the awesome game “metro 2033″ which as you know is extremely demanding however the GTS250 runs is smoothly at high resolution (1920×1080)
the only downside of this option is the direct x 11 path … however in my experience direct x upgrades are slow to materialize … so direct x 10 will still be around for some time.. infact around 60% of game developers are still making games based around direct x 9….
and ask any pc hardware enthuiast and they will tell you that the GTS250 is one of the best cards you can run in sli …..
you could go with the radeon HD5830 however a single one of these cards wouldnt be as powerful as two GTS250,s …. ok you will have direct x 11 support however as i have mentioned theres not many games that support this api… check out the list of direct x 11 games at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_gam…
in regards to the radeon HD5770 this is a excellent card and would be excellent in crossifre X… infact this is popular among system builders who build them in crossfire on a regular basis… so if you still want to go down the direct x 11 upgrade path then crossfire two of the HD5770,s…. this would be excellent
so there you have it… i still recommend the two GTS250,s however this is followed by two HD5770,s in crossfire X ……

Eclipse Wireless Litetouch Keyboard Video Review

In the grand scheme of things, the basic design of computer keyboards hasn’t changed since their inception decades ago. There are however a number of companies who are striving to bring innovation to the run-of-the-mill keyboard by adding new and innovative features. It is quite possible that you may not have heard of them but a little-known design studio called Art Lebedev was one of the first to introduce a full customizable keyboard. TELUS iphone hardware upgrade rip off!! Help?

I am just over a year into a telus contract with a crappy free phone, and want the iphone.
For new telus customers the iphone is $199 with a 3yr contract,
for current customers who want the hardware upgrade, it is $699 (less a $150 discount, so $549)

The only way to get it for $199 is to buy out the remainder of my current contract (about $300) and start fresh for another 3 yrs.
Has anyone found a way around paying the outrageous fees? What about customer loyalty??

With that out of the way, Sandler proceeds to explain how to perform a whole slew of useful hardware upgrades on a test-bed machine–a Pentium 133 with insufficient memory, a too-small hard drive, an old-fashioned video card, and a slow CD-ROM drive. By the book’s end, the once-humble box has a 10 GB hard drive, a DVD-ROM drive, a Zip drive for removable storage, 128 MB of RAM, a better video card, and a host of other improvements. The machine is absolutely suited to running Windows 98 or Windows Me when the surgery is done.

As you’d expect, Sandler documents the whole process with words, photographs, and a few line drawings. The photos look “pixilated” and kind of bland–publishers of computer books aren’t used to including photos in their publications–but they do the job of clarifying the procedures Sandler undertook on the test-bed machine. The text is of decent quality, too, and you’ll be able to use Sandler’s presentation as a guide if you’re willing to experiment a bit and apply common sense to the specific machine you’re upgrading.
